Sake Badges: Collect Every Type and Region

Earn a badge for each sake type and region you try.

How sake badges work

SakeSpirit badges turn tasting into a collection. Every time you scan a bottle, the app reads the label and records the sake's type, such as junmai, honjozo, ginjo, daiginjo, nigori or sparkling, and the prefecture where it was brewed. Each new type or region unlocks a badge, so your badge wall becomes a simple record of how widely you have explored.

Type badges run from everyday futsushu to super-premium junmai daiginjo, which makes them a practical way to learn the grades you see on labels. Region badges follow Japan's sake country, from Niigata and Hyogo to Kyoto, Hiroshima and Akita, so you can see which areas you know well and which are still waiting.

Learning badges reward reading, too: open the free sake guides to understand what you are drinking. Badges are private to your account and are just for fun. There is no pressure to drink more; one thoughtful glass counts as much as a whole bottle. Please drink responsibly.
